project

The need for an automated battery production plant

The Challenge

The first to introduce a SCADA for battery plant automation

As a system integrator, we entered the battery industry through a revamping project carried out in the Vicenza area. Thanks to that intervention, we were able to study the type of plant we were dealing with. Once all technical specifications were gathered and operational details clarified with the end user, we set to work, creating SINACON, the first SCADA used in a lead-acid battery production plant.

The Intervention

Battery plant automation

One of our core businesses is battery plant automation, from traction battery assembly and finishing lines to formation lines, where we boast over twenty years of experience.

For this market sector, we have developed and optimized line supervision systems, SINACON ASSEMBLY & SINACON FINISHING, which guarantee an optimized work cycle. SINACON increases the quality of the final product and the total productivity of the production lines for any type of CAR, MOTORCYCLE & TRUCK battery.

Our supervision systems also allow for storing production line data, tracking individual products, and integrating them, with “INDUSTRY 4.0”, into the factory management system.

Finally, to provide our customers with a complete supply for assembly & finishing lines, we integrate our control units for short circuits, dielectric testing & leak testing for every single battery produced.

The adaptability of our systems, combined with our decades of experience and the ability to integrate every part of the line and production process in a 4.0 perspective, makes us the ideal partner for the most cutting-edge solutions and systems.
