Use of cookies

The website owned by Ferrazza S.r.l. Unipersonale, located in via Tezze di Cereda 8/C in Cornedo Vicentino (VI), uses cookies, to make to navigation services offered through it, simple and efficient for users who view the pages.

The user who visits our website will see inserted in the navigation software (browser) of the device used, be it a computer or another mobile device, the minimum amount of information contained in small text files called “cookies”. Cookies are stored in the folders of the hard disk, or non-volatile memory of the device, used by the browser itself for its operation.

Various types of cookies are used, some of which are used to make the use of the website more effective, while others are used to enable certain features.

Analysing them in more detail, we see that cookies allow the user to:

  • memorise the preferences entered by the user.
  • avoid re-entering the same information multiple times during the visit such as usernames and passwords when requested.
  • analyse the use of the services and content provided by the website to optimize the browsing experience and the services offered.

With a function partially similar to the latter, cookies can be used in passive systems of user data collection known as “fingerprint”, which communicate to the operator of the site the type of operating system and browser used, the size of the windows on the screen, their video resolution etc.

Types of Cookies used on the website

The cookies used on the website are:

– Technical cookies

This type of cookie allows for the correct functioning of certain sections of the website. They can be of two categories, persistent and session:

  • Persistent: once the browser is closed, they are not destroyed but keep track of browsing until a pre-set expiration date.
  • Session: they are deleted every time the browser is closed.

These cookies, always sent by the domain of the navigation site, are necessary to correctly view the website and in relation to the technical services offered, will therefore always be used and sent, unless the user changes the browser settings (potentially invalidating, in this way, the visualization of the pages of the site).

– Analytical cookies

This type of cookies is used to collect information about the website use. We will use this information, regarding anonymous statistical analysis, in order to improve the website use and to make the content more interesting and relevant to the user’s wishes. This type of cookie collects user data activity in an anonymous form and how it arrived on the website. Analytical cookies are sent by the website itself or by third-party domains. These include cookies generated by the Google Analytics Service (Universal).

– Analytical cookies by third parties

Specification of the above: these cookies are used to anonymously collect information on the website use by the users such as: visited pages, time of stay, traffic origin, geographical origin, age, gender, and interests for the purposes of marketing campaigns. These cookies are sent by third-party domains external to our website. These include Google Analytics cookies with anonymized IP and Google Ads conversion tracking.

According to art. 122 of the Privacy Code and the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10.06.2021, Ferrazza S.r.l. Unipersonale is not required to ask for consent for technical and analytical cookies placed on its website, as they are used solely for the purpose of transmitting an electronic communication over a telecommunications network and to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of a given service, explicitly requested by the contractor or user, to provide such a service.

For all other possible types of cookies, the consent can be, instead, be expressed by the user with one or more of the following methods:

  • By specific browser configurations or of the related computer programs used to navigate the pages that make up the website.
  • By changing settings when using third-party services.

Both these solutions could prevent the user from using and viewing parts of the website
