SINACON Waste

The SCADA system for waste disposal and recycling plants

Thanks to the experience in SCADA programming, Ferrazza created SINACON Waste, a new software for the control and management of waste disposal and recycling plants.

How does it work?

The industry 4.0  technology is now applied to waste collecting and disposal facilities, to allow the operators to control all the transformation process and all the mobile machineries – e.g.: forklifts, trucks, etc. – that are connected through Wi-Fi.

This SINACON version can also control the amount of processed material and the specific processing methods, uploading different recipes (specific parameters to process different materials). The recipes uploaded with SINACON Waste include also the amount of energy consumed by the individual machineries. The gathered data can then be used for a production evaluation, and can be exported in any desired format or visualised on the company’s management software.

What is new about it?

SINACON Waste can also gather and process environmental data through the right measurement tools, connected to the PLC or SCADA. 

This data analysis consists in monitoring parameters such temperatures inside tanks, toxic gas levels or fumes in the air, etc. for a complete control of the facility and the whole plant.

Being able to collect those data is a big advantage as it will allow us to reduce and contain polluting substances. Moreover, this type of control also helps to optimise the use of raw materials and energy consumption, therefore making the whole transformation process more efficient.
